It looks like we will have 26 teams.
We can't wait to see everyone out there.
Lots of work to do Friday & Saturday morning, but it will be worth it!!

Its taken quite a bit of work to get it the way we like and I believe it looks great!

We are starting to get some major sponsorship.
The Atlantic has agreed to sponsor us again this year.
They will provide all participants with a free drink & 1/2 price menu after the completion of the tournament.
The Professional Engineering of Ontario (eastern branch) has agreed to donate $200.
Desautel Meats has generously agreed to donate the hamburgers & hot dogs for the tournament.

We've got a photo op with members of the town council on Thursday at the arena soccer field.
For those of you that don't know, we have decided to make up the funding gap required to fix the lights at the field.

Set up a meeting with Scotiabank for next week.
We will set up a "foundation account" for the tournament.
Also asked about them "matching funds".....apparently they have made the rules for this much tighter.....they probably won't be able to match all the money we raise.....only money that they are there to help us raise (ie: money we raise the day of the tournament). They will have volunteers from the bank there to help us as well.....so we will probably use them for the concession stand, any tickets for draws, etc.
